The YMCA in The Netherlands was founded on October 23, 1853, making it the oldest youth organization in the Netherlands.

Club work

Throughout The Netherlands, there are about 250 clubs offering youth work.  A comprehensive overview of the work of YMCA Youth Work is available on the website www.ymcajeugdwerk.nl (Dutch only)

Summer camps

During the summer vacation, there are over 1,000 children, young people and single parents with their children who are going to summer camp with the YMCA. Y Camps  is responsible for the implementation of summer camps for children and young people with special needs, for example: They have ADHD or diabetes, fled from their own country or are growing up with a single parent.
Children who do not need extra guidance can join Fun2Stay at the campsite Leusden for summer camp.
Young people from 16 years old who are interested in meeting other cultures in Europe can go travel on a foreign trip with YMCA Jongerenreizen. (Dutch only)

International

YMCA The Netherlands is part of YMCA Europe and the World Council of YMCA’s. There are sections of the YMCA in 119 countries. Regular exchanges and meetings take place from YMCA Netherlands.
